The "Bright Hour #8" installation was presented at the “Portais do Tempo” (Portals of Time), group exhibition developed by Underdogs Gallery and curated by Pauline Foessel.
This exhibition is part of the commemorations of the 50-year anniversary of the 25th of April's Revolution, taking over one of Almada's most iconic spaces, the old LISNAVE shipyards.
Delving into themes related to freedom, diversity, and equality, it presents original works by artists Ana Malta, Fidel Évora, Inês Teles, Márcio Carvalho, Pedro Gramaxo, Raquel Belli, and Sara Fonseca da Graça, inspired and reinterpreted by images of iconic Portuguese photographer Alfredo Cunha, presenting original large-scale site-specific installations.
